Visa for minor having US passport

Hi All,

does anyone know if baby having US passport born to Indian parents can travel to India on emergency visa on Vande Bharat Mission flights?

As i understand it, the baby must possess an OCI card to travel under "vande bharath" mission.

Thanks for your reply. Actually I read following article in Indian express published on June 13

In fresh orders issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the government has allowed entry of such foreign minor children whose one of the parents is either an Indian citizen or OCI card holder.

Since me and my wife both are Indian citizens we meet the criteria. But it’s not mentioned in the article if the minor requires OCI or can travel on visa

If anyone has any info on this. I will appreciate that.
