Indian passport renewal in US

Hello all,

Is there no need to upload a digital copy of my photo in government site anymore? I didn’t see that option and I remember that we had to upload a digital photo to the government website previously when I extended passport for my spouse a few years ago.

Additionally, I’m a US green card holder. If my Indian passport expires before I’m able to renew, is there any issue for my green card?

You need a valid green card and passport photos are sent with the application. Not uploaded to the website.

Indian passport expiry does not affect greencard in the US.
You only send a notarized copy of your greencard with the passport application (original passport, photos and application).
Do not send the original card.
