OCI barcode and PIO card

I completed part A online and I got only the aaplication with the reference number (USAWI.....). The Immihelp website says there will be a barcode generated, I did not get a barcode. Is it OK?

To apply at Washington D.C. embassy, do I need to surrender the PIO card in original to the embassy when applying for OCI or only when the U-visa sticker is ready.

Hello,

This is assigned to you on the computer screen. It does not print on the application. If you do not have it, you will need to start over.
"A barcode and a reference number will be assigned to you by the computer upon completing the online registration. You must retain this reference number as it will be required when you submit your application at the consulate." You can find complete instructions at /oci-card/oci-documents.html and this should allow you to complete the process.

I believe there is no Bar code generated
I did not get a bar code I got only Reference number. Even when I reprinted Form did not see bar code
