New OCI: Shipping problem

Hi,

In the "Shipping through CKGS" section of the application (part 4, Submission and Collection Mode), the only option I see under "Select Shipping Option" is the following: "I will use my own airway bill". SO, I went ahead and chose that and submitted my online application. When I am about to send the physical documents, I see that in this kind of shipping mode, they do not drop the processed docs to courier company and we need to do that. It didnt make sense.

• Is there a way that I could change my shipping option?
• I tried to cancel and create new one but ckgs website says application with the same passport number is already present, so couldn't go that route
• With this current shipping option that I have selected, what needs to be done to get my processed docs back?

Before you made the application fee, you should have had the choice to choose the shipping option. I see other messages posted with missing shipping options. Maybe there is something messed up during this COVID changes. Canceling the application and starting over is one option. You have to redo the whole application again. You will not be able to start a new one when an application is half way done or incomplete. Cancel and get the refind (if you already paid) and then start a new application.

With the technology we have, everything can be done online. But to avoid security, abuse and fraud issues, this process involves mailing the application to CKGS. You will need to send the passport to them anyway.
