  • OCI Application Government Website -Signiture

    Hi,
I filled up OCI application form in the government website for my son who is just over 5, so fall under minor category. I had 2 question if someone can shed some light.
1.on the final downloaded form on the first page I see that last letter 'a' of 'consulate general of India' appears within the box provided for photo, I do not think this has to do anything with how I uploaded the photo, because photo and signature are within the box provided, so I just wanted to check with you guys if this is normal (see below or attached).

2.Also my son is just over 5 now, so does he need to sign (actually just write his name) on the page 3 of the filled application at the 2 locations?

    thanks

    1. I applied fresh OCI recently for my daughter and the name was way far from the photo box.
    2. I think for all minor applications the parents signature is needed along with notary.

If the child can writer his/her name, make him/her write her name. If not, thumb impression.
