I am a recent MBA from the US and on on OPT status.

I want to return to India for 2 years, setup a business, and return to the US with that business.

How can I ensure that I come back and can stay in the US from there on? Is it possible?

You will have to start all over again, such as applying for H1 visa.

I want to leave the US and return in a year. How can I return if I leave on an F1 - once I leave that F1 is not valid as I've graduated.

What do you mean? I said the same thing.

How can you return on that F1? You can't. That is why you will have to start all over again, such as applying for H1 visa.

And what you mean? Return to the US with that business?

I mean - i want to setup the biz in India - then register the biz in the US and live here.

So, if I leave now my F1 will end and I will not be able to return. If I register my biz here in 2 years -- what are my options? Do i sponsor an H1 for myself? Can i apply for a green card?
