PIO card- Name change

Hi all,
We just got the PIO card of my son couple of weeks back. We noticed that in the last page of the PIO card instead of first name and last name of my son, it is written as last name, first name.

I tried calling the washington DC embassy multiple times, but its of no use.No one is picking up the phone and I m not able to leave any msg in their mail box.

Is it okay to leave the way it is or should I go to the embassy and get it corrected. If so, what is the procedure and what documents should I carry.

I don't think that this should be a problem. However, in my son's PIO card, the name is printed as 'First name Last name' (on the last page). The best way to get in touch with the embassey is to E-mail them, not only to the concerned department, but make Cc to the main personnel at the embassey as well. Worked for me in the past, hope works for you as well.

Try sending emails to:

[email protected]

and do mention that you are trying to contact them from past several days.
