I am in India right now on a PIO card. It's my understanding that that PIO cards will be invalid as of September 30, 2020. If I apply to convert my PIO card to an OCI while I am still here in India before September 30, 2020, may I stay in India after that date without overstaying while I wait to receive the OCI card? Or will I have to leave India before Sept 30 and apply in the States?
