  • about OCI Part-B "have you/any member ... applied for OCI earlier"

    Hi,

I made a mistake in part b application for new
OCI application at VFS global and submitted part b by mistake, how do I edit my application. I have not submitted the documents physically or send out passport yet to VFS global.

the mistake was for “OCI Part-B "have you/any member ... applied for OCI earlier"

the question was “name and relationship”, I entered only the relationship details as brother without the name and clicked on submit without adding name.

please suggest what should be done to correct this and if this is critical for my application to get rejected by VFS for name missing of family member, I put in the right registration number and issue place for my family member with relationship specified, I missed out the first part which is the name, can they still figure out the name with the registration number I provided and this would not be a problem or else do I need to submit a new form?

as the relationship is brother, should I even select the option as yes for “ "have you/any member ... applied for OCI earlier“
or should I say no and move on with the application.

    thank you

Yes, applied a new form with the updated information, hopefully the error should be minor for you and they will neglect it.

I have made another error of entering the date of 16th under marriage registration date versus my actual marriage date which is the 15th as both of the dates are there in my marriage certificate.

still not sure if it’s Marriage registration date or actual marriage date, not clear on instructions.

On the marriage part I put the date of marriage.

Thank you, I entered the registration date - waiting for them to process my application to hear back if that is an error, I sent a copy of my marriage certificate, so hoping they see both the dates as valid dates.
