Is self attestation required for VFS OCI application

Hi,

I am in the process of applying for new OCI through VFS, I would like know if the online upload for Mandatory documents needs self attested copies to be uploaded or not required.

Is the self attested copies only for physical copies to be send along with the application for VFS.

No, for online upload, just scan the original docs and upload them.

For physical submission, you may self-attest. Though it has been reported by some members on this forum that docs without self-attestation were also accepted without any issues.

It is better to self attest the ones that you physical send since it is mentioned in the instructions.
