The instructions on the government form says,
"A person who has not attained the age of 18 years is considered as minor. In case of minor who cannot sign, his/her left thumb impression may be placed in the signature box. Parents should not sign on the behalf of the children."
On the other hand, VFS check list says,
".For minors above the age of 5 years, the applicant has to sign the form"
Should I have my 6 year old sign? Any suggestions? They also say that the signature should match with passport - how can it be possible for kids.
