  • Renunciation @DC

    Hi,
I'm applying for Indian Citizenship Renunciation and want to know if we have to notarize govt application form or the renunciation certificate.
If anyone have done renunciation recently, please advise.
    Thanks

The document indicates that we notarize only the US passport copy. Other than that, I don't see anything else need to be notarized. I am also not sure what other additional documents need to be notarized other than the copy of the US passport.

Also, I have the following questions.

    1. Do we need to past two passport size photos anywhere in the application? Or send the separately?
    2. What other additional documents need to be notarized other than the copy of the US passport.

I think this is for the OCI application. For renunciation, the US passport copies don't need to be notarized. If your Indian passport expired before you were naturalized, it looks like you need a notarized affidavit.
