Thanks, yes the same issue for me - my application was dispatched from MEA on March 16th too, not sure why the delivery to SF is taking more than a week, hope that it changes to the next step soon!

Ya, I am extremely frustrated at how slow the whole process has moved. It has been very slow with over 60 days already past.

My timeline for OCI Reissue :

Delivered to VFS: Jan 16th (Unfortunately delayed due to VFS closure and short staffing)
OCI application submitted to SFO Consulate: Mar 2nd
Status: Processed as of Mar 17th
Documents Printing Status On Mar 17th
Dispatched From MEA (OCI ) On Mar 19th
SFO Consulate Received on Mar 25th
OCI Received on Mar 26th

US Passport returned: Feb 18th
OCI application submitted to SFO Consulate: Feb 18th
Document print status: March 15th
Dispatched from MEA (OCI): March 16th
SFO consulate received: March 27th (guessing they report IST date)

Hopefully they should ship it out early next week to get the OCI card!

Unfortunately, no movement on mine yet, still waiting for SFO consulate to receive it though it was dispatched from MEA on 3/16. Not sure if these are some bulk processing or individual updates.

Document printing status - March 30

I have to travel to India Mid May. Hope this work out in time

hi.. from the above timelines, I think it takes about 1 month from VFS delivering documents to the embassy to printing card status. Do any of you is of non-Indian origin applying on the basis of an Indian origin spouse? Not sure if this timeline is longer for me. Thanks so much.

Hi all, I am preparing to submit my documents. I have my renunciation certificate and still have my old expired Indian Passport. Do i also need to send the expired Indian passport OR just the renuciation certificate is OK. I am providing copy of indian passport pages as suggested in checklist as proof of my Indian Origin. Please let me know if you also provided expired Indian passport when mailing all the documents, this is the only question i have.

I am also sending my US passport with notarized photocopy of US passport.
