OCI application - Spouse's passport details

I am applying for OCI using my own renunciated Indian passport as proof of Indian origin

- The OCI application did ask for some information about my spouse but the fields asking for information about my spouse's passport did NOT have the mandatory info red asterisk and I left them unfilled.

- I did fill out the spouse detail fields which had the mandatory red asterisks (Name, date of birth and date of marriage registration).

I assume this will not cause any issues but wanted to check with everyone

If you are applying for OCI based on getting married to an Indian origin spouse, all these fields are mandatory.

Since, it looks like you qualify for an OCI based on your own self, as in with your own Indian origin, these fields do not really matter other than the mandatory ones.

You should be fine, nothing to worry.
