Have USA citizenship and Cannot find Indian passport

Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to apply for PIO card. I got USA citizenship in 1976. I tried to look for Indian passport. I kept it so safe that even I am not able to find it.


I do have current USA passport and visa for India.


I was told, I can get a letter notorized that I cannot find my Indian passport with the PIO application.




Please let me know what I should do.
