So, I have been hit with my 1st roadblock in finishing an application with VFS. My previous two applications (Renunciation and OCI for another family member) went smoothly.
I am applying OCI for my 2 minor children and I was able to successfully finish application on Indian Govt site and got ARN for both applicants without any issues or troubles.
When I created account on VFS (using 2 separate email IDs) for each of my 2 kids, and filled in all details (I got through different pages of forms properly on VFS site). However, after final submit, where I should have been presented with credit card payment page, I got the attached error. Got the same error with 2 different email IDs
After getting this error below, when I try to do everything again from beginning, I get message saying "Payment in process - You cannot submit another application for 24 hours" I am confused as I didn't put my credit card details because I was not presented with credit card payment page (I made sure to disable adblockers from my browser while doing this).
Has anyone faced the same issue and if yes, how was this resolved. I have already reached out to VFS customer service but given their level of service, I am a bit skeptic on them providing me a resolution. I am stuck here from completing my application.
