OCI Registration Form - which passport no

I don't know why is it so hard to make the form filling easier.

In the "OCI Registration Form" what should I fill in for:
1. Place of Birth - It seems that I should put the exact information from my US passport which is "India".
2. Passport details - Which passport to fill in? India (cancelled) or US (current)? And should I put Indian passport no in "previous passport no" field if I am providing US passport details?

2. Passport details - Which passport to fill in? India (cancelled) or US (current)? And should I put Indian passport no in "previous passport no" field if I am providing US passport details? Put US PP where it says PP number only and put indian for previous. Yes you do need to provide previous Indian PP number.
