*I am an indian citizen with indian p.port.hubby is a NZ citizen with NZ p.port
*We have an indian marriage certificate trying to apply for his PIO
we mailed the NZ high commission.we looked up the website for documents 2 be submitted.my hubby spoke 2 the concerned ppl
Now he is in NZ all set to apply for his PIO. & VIOLA!!! high comm NZ says "your wife's passport does not mention your name on it. we need that as a proof of YOUR PIO status and HER indian citizen status"
They never once said anything about my passport having his name on it.
we have a marriage certificate to prove he's my husband
* is it really required to have his name on my p.port for HIS proof of a PIO candidate???
*if it is....is thr any letter or an endorsement or a stamp on my p.port that i cud receive rather than me applying for a new p.port as i have many valid visas and would be a pain reissuing them
