Sent passport for renewal through FedEx & VFS received damaged docs, missing passport
I sent my passport for renewal through FedEx to VFS on July 2. It was delivered and signed for on July 6. I received a call from VFS on July 12 that my application documents were damaged and my passport was missing from it. Everything was also put into a new envelope (I had used the recommended FedEx envelope). VFS sent pictures of the damage and the new envelope but FedEx merely says nothing shows up in the scans, we can't do anything. How can I get FedEx to do more than a cursory glance at the tracking info and track down my missing passport? Any other suggestions and guidance would really help as well.
