Hi, As per this note, Consulate General of India, San Francisco, California : OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) cards (cgisf.gov.in) existing OCI holders over 50 years of age, only need to upload new passport and picture on the GOI web site. But when I go to the OCI-Services (ociservices.gov.in) and click Miscellaneous Services it is only showing the place to start OCI Miscellaneous application. I do not want to get a new OCI card, just need to upload the new passport documents which is gratis. The links on this page for document load/upload is only for existing application in progress. Does anyone know what is the right navigation for just uploading new passport details? Thanks

It is the same process for 50+ getting a new passport the first time after turning 50. --> In case issuance of new Passport Details (each time a new passport is issued up to 20 years of age and once after completing 50 years of age).

I could submit my passport info and upload the pictures. But after finishing part B and submitting, it did not do anything and just displayed the original screen. I get not get any confirmation email. Don't know if I need to resubmit againComment

Did you get any update from MEA? I also uploaded my passport, signature page and other details and got an email confirmation that my application has been submitted. It is not clear what else I need to do and what I will get? Do I need to send my old OCI back? Will get a new OCI booklet? I take it there is no more sticker on the new US passport anymore..I could not find the complete steps are not clearly spelled out anywhere..anyone else has a pointer?Originally posted by tp2016 View PostComment
