OCI with less than 6 months US passport validity

My daughters US passport is expiring on Apr 27th 2022. She has valid OCI with current US passport. We have travel plans to India from Dec 12 2021 to Jan 8th 2022. Can we travel to India with these plans without renewing the US passport as the US passport validity is less than 6 months.

No issues here. You can travel to India as the two countries have reciprocal agreements on passport expiration validity

correct, there should be no issues, in general.

But, I also recommend checking with your airline, since if you are transiting through a third country some airlines require you to have 6 months validity. Singapore airlines used to have this and was pretty strict about it earlier.
