Visa expiring soon and need to apply OCi for kid
Hi All,
My Visa is going to expire in September.My company is going to apply for my extension. I need to apply for the OCI for my kid.
As per VFS checklist below is mentioned- "In case of parents pending visa extension is under
process “Required recently expired Visa or I-797A Approval notice together with I-797C Receipt Notice for filing of a request for extension before the expiry of Visa or I-797A"
The way above is written is quite confusing to me. I will have my expired visa and i-797C. I-797A may take while and I don't want to wait till then. If only these two documents would be sufficient?
If anyone applied recently in similar circumstances?
