I understand there are new OCI rules regarding renewal of OCI. However, I need clarification.
I originally received my OCI Card after age 20 but before age 50. My passport was renewed once after receiving my OCI Card. I turned age 50 in July 2021 but my current passport does not expire for another 5 years.
Do I need to upload my current passport and photo since I am over age 50 and my current passport was issued about 5 years ago? I understand that I need to upload the new passport details within 3 months but that is not possible since my passport was issued about 5 years ago.
Please provide clarification on what needs to be done in this situation.
