Have you tried reaching out embassy?

There was bit of an emergency back home so we applied for emergency visa last week. We have been constantly emailing and calling them for past 2-3 days for an update. There has been no response. Before applying when I called the number listed on their contact us page, they had answered and told me that emergency visa is given right away. You will receive an email saying that your application has been approved. You go to embassy and get visa stamped after paying for it. It has been five business days since we applied and it only says 'application under process'. I don't get it. Did we do something wrong? Are they waiting on relative to pass away and then we provide death certificate before they provide visas? This is a bit frustrating. Anyways, just wondering if we need to be doing something else.

Sorry to hear this. A friend of mine went through the ordeal in Houston, but got a visa in 2-3 days. They had then asked to FedEx the documents, along with a letter to prove the emergency.
Try calling them again and request again and leave messages . good luck! Other option is to also tweet.
