India Visa expired but OCI received in India - Question

After I received my US Citizenship and I went India with 6 months valid visitor Visa. From India, I applied for OCI and got the OCI in 3 months.

Now my Visa is expired but have a valid OCI, do I need to update India Immigration about my OCI or as part of granting OCI, the information is already updated?

Please suggest...
