I have sent my application on July 23, 2010 to Consulate General of Chicago. I was able to receive my Acknowledgment using us OCI online inquiry form on August 18th, 2010. I waited until September 9th to see the process move any further, however, nothing changed. I thought, may be there is problem in my photo so I took a new photo/scanned along with my new Part A of the OCI application and sent my old OCI application number (as detailed on the Consulates website). I have been checking the status using both the new/old OCI app. number, but there are no changes. The only thing I see is the Acknowledgment date of August 18th. Can anyone advice, as to what should I do to move this process any further? I have not received any type of email confirmation from the consulate. Online inquiry states that

OCI Chicago pending

Hi - i am in the same boat. I applied for OCI in April, 2010 and my acknowledgement date is May 2, 2010. I have been trying to get an update on my application but of no avail. I thought may be there is problem with the photo so i uploaded a new photo and application ( as directed on Chicago consulate website) on September 23, 2010. Since then i have been checking status of both my new and old USACI case number. My new USACI number is not yet acknowledged and there is no status change on my old number. I am flying to India on Nov 21 and i am not sure what to do next ( may be apply for Entry Visa). Please advice. I am now a naturlaized citizen of USA.
