Can I apply OCI In India for US Newborn 3 month old arrived on Entry VISA in India

Hi All,

Recently I have US Newborn and yet to get Birth certificate which is in process. Question is in 2.5 month my VISA getting expired and I need to move India Permanently.I will be applying for India Entry VISA once newborn gets US passport. Newborn will travel and enter India on Entry VISA. Question is How long my kid can stay on entry VISA in India ? Can I apply for OCI for him in India.
