OCI card query for newborn

Hello All,
I’m in a complex situation and desperately need advise on how to resolve it. Sorry for the long post but have to describe in detail.

We are blessed with a baby girl in the US and have to apply for her OCI card. The problem is my wife’s full name in her passport is in given name section (not split in first, last name). Her given name appears on passport is “ last name first name”. My name is proper first, last name no issues with that.

When our baby girl was born we didn’t want FNU, LNU in any of her documents so we mentioned split name for both parents.

We’re going to get her US passport soon. Now we have to apply for her OCI card. In mother’s name what should I mention? FNU, Mother’s full name or first, last name as it appears on child’s passport?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Just write it exactly as it appears on the mother's passport. You will need to submit copies of parents passport to prove ties to indian origin.
