Can anyone help me Indian Passport Renunciation Process

Hi All,
I am applying for Renunciation Certificate via VFS Global.This whole process is so frustrating-Their website is so buggy and doesn't provide correct information and I have seen so many posts here on this forum who have complained so many times about this buggy website.
Can anyone please suggest or share their exp information.
Which is better to opt for---Money order(BOA) or online credit or debit option for paying money---
Has anyone opted for creating their own UPS shipping labels to include in the package ----How much did u guys pay for creating your own labels?Also-did anyone create shipping label online on UPS website or walked into the store and created with the help of the customer rep?
Also in today's world-We have all got smartphones and scanner apps,Right?Has anybody took a pic of the passport pages and certificate of naturalisation and from their scanner app and sent the print or have you guys personally walked to nearby centers to take a photocopy?Can anybody advise me if I can follow the scanner app process .
Please let me know .Help is much needed!

All options work. It really boils down to what you want. it will be true for other needs with Indian mission/vfs like passport renewals, OCI filing, etc also:

1. Pay the fee online or through a Money order\Cashiers check whatever works good for you. There are some charges for online payment but it comes with convenience of paying from your home.

2. My 2 cents on the shipping: UPS label will not save you much as compared to the extra botheration (no expiry date, manage pickup, etc) - so go fedex as vfs manages it for you. Alternatively you can use USPS priority mail if you want to save money. The drawbacks are: (1) One extra trip to post office to get postage, tracking labels, envelopes. (2) Tracking may or may not be available while vfs send the package back to you (will depend upon USPS on when it get scanned as vfs will send out as normal post).

In case you want to go priority mail:

- You can send multiple applications if you have more than one renunciation (in their own separate envelopes) in the same priority mail fixed price envelope
- VFS does for combine returns. For return send individual self addressed priority mail envelopes for each application. Buy stamps from you local post office and stick them to a priority mail self addressed envelope. Also request free tracking labels from the post office when you buy the stamps. You will need the tracking numbers from these labels when filing the vfs application.

Thanks for the detailed information!Appreciate your quick response!I am going with VFS fedex label -ofcourse reason being-don't want to land up in issue with the frustrating VFS system.
Also the checklist which says/describes all the documents which we need to send for renunciation process --do we need to write our US passport number or Indian Passport number.Also if I am correct---we need to print this checklist and fill in the applicant name,mobile no,email id and passport number manually and send it along with the other photocopies in the envelope.Right?How many copies do we need to take of this checklist.

Also would you guys recommend me to take the passport,DL and Naturalisation certificate through a mobile scanner app and then print and send those printed copies?Has anyone done that ?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Updating

Please use the latest India passport number. We did not have any challenges with US passport number also. There were others who have reported problems with US passport#

Yes - I think one or two copies of checklist. The checklist instructions say that
Depends on the quality of the printout from the scan

I saw your other post. Looks like someone had challenges recently, So maybe use Indian Passport number, VFS needs to be more clear!

Update :Guys I got the email from VFS Global and they have clearly said we need to write Indian Passport # on the checklist-
Hope it helps for those who are new and filling the form for Ren process.
