Hello Friends,
I have an INDIAN PASSPORT and my PLACE OF BIRTH shows the place where i studied which is "CHENNAI".
But my actual place of BIRTH is "DUBAI, UAE".
Post which I was able to get my Official Birth Certificate from the Hospital in Dubai, using which i was able to get my GREEN CARD in 2017.
After which i went to the Indian Embassy to get my PLACE OF BIRTH corrected which they refused to do and requested to get the BIRTH REGISTRATION CERTICATE from the INDIAN EMBASSY in UAE, after which i went to DUBAI to get the BIRTH REGISTRATION which the Indian Embassy officials rejected to do it as they stated this had to be done within 7 years of the BIRTH.
QUESTIONS
Will there be any issues when i go for the RENOUCIATION Process and also for the OCI Application ?
Has anyone faced any similar situation, do let me know what was the solution to solve this issue... By the way i haven't travelled out of US since 2017.

- What happens when i go for RENOUNCIATION of my INDIAN CITIZENSHIP, what should i put on my RENOUNCIATION CERTIFICATE ?
- Also what should i put my PLACE OF BIRTH on my OCI Form ?
