Hi,

Is there any difference between submitting the application using direct physical appointment than mailing in ? I was wondering if any time is saved?

Once we submit the application physically by booking an appointment, what happens next? Do i need to give them my US passport original ?

Can i travel during my OCI is in process? thanks

You no longer are required to give original US passport. They removed that step in the process.

You can certainly travel on visa while the OCI is in process, as it takes 2-3 months for it to finish.
