  • Indian Entry visa for 5 years

Hi All - https://www.cgisf.gov.in/page/entry-visa-services/ - this portal only mentions Entry Visa Fees for 1 year.

Can we not get the Entry Visa for 5 years?

If yes - how do I know the fees - so that I can send exact amount in the post to the embassy. I tried contacting embassy, but no answer.

Appreciate any helpful information regards to this. Thanks.

You can try going through the evisa page: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

It has a good section on FAQs and payment info.

thats for evisa - currently, allows only to enter once for 30 days. I am interested in 5 year visa, allowing multiple 180 day entries.

hi vitharm123- Did you get a response from anyone on 5 years Entry Visa? I called the embassy, auto answering said email your questions, I emailed my questions last week and still no reply. i was tired of waiting so applied for 1-year entry visa. I did not submit proof of emergency, are we supposed to submit that now? since tourist visas are open?

You can get emergency visa if your spouse is India. Few people have got those last year.

Does it have to be emergency visa? Can I not get a regular entry visa with a dueation longer than 30 days per visit? This is for my US citizen kid. I know this was available but I am not sure of the recent experiences.

Hi Jot18, do you mean proof of emergency is not required like a doctor's certificate if applying for spouse or child? Thanks!

It wasnt required last year. All you needed was attach a marriage certificate and letter explaining your situation.
