I had applied for a PIO from Delhi.My RP had been issued from Delhi Office. Recently 6 months of my registered period got over and now I am working in Banglalore.I plan to stay here for atleast 6 months.I went to the FRO in Bangalore to re-register myself but they said that since all my documents were in Delhi I would have to get a transfer (of RP/RC ) before I could register with them ,however the Delhi FRRO had not mentioned anything like that when I had asked them about it.They said it would be sufficient to show my address proof of Bangalore to get myself registered in Bangalore.(I could not get an extension from Delhi because I did not have a Delhi address proof)
Also my passport gives an expired date of my permit to stay in India.Do I have to get that changed & enter my PIO expiry date in that?
I am really confused now as to where I should re-register myself.Should I get my RP transferred to bangalore or wait will I go back to Delhi?
I am already a month late for registration .I hope there wont be any other complications apart from having to par a fine of $30?
