Procedurefor getting OCI card for PIOcard holder

D/Sir/Madam,

My grand son was born in US to Indian Parents in the year 2003. My son obtained PIO card
for him on 16.7.2004 which is valid till 15.07.2019.We want to obtain OCI card for him at an earliest
possible. You are requested to please advise us on the following..

1. Can we get dual citizenship for him, if so, at what age?

2. Can we get OCI card for my grand son , if so, at what age?

You are requested to please advise us on this matter. My son is interested
to keep his attachment with US for his better future.

1. Never. India does not allow dual citizenship.
2. If both parents are citizen of India, their foreign-born child is not eligible for OCI. Only PIO.
3. You don't need particularly OCI or PIO for that. He can go to the U.S. at any time he wants.
