Renunciation of Overseas citizenship for an Indian Passport Holder

Dear Sir

My daughter has a NZ passport though she still is retaining her original Indian Passport.She is an Indian citizen by birth She wants to renounce her NZ citizenship and retain her Indian Passport. Her husband has obtained OCI on his NZ passport.

1. She has not used her NZ passport for any kind of travel abroad.

2. She has used her Indian passport for travel to India twice after attaining NZ citizenship.On that passport she has multiple entry visa to NZ. She has come to India recently on Her Indian passport
Kindly a) indicate the form to be used for this purpose,b) where to send in the filled up form,c) how much fee is required, d) whether to send the NZ passport in original to the Indian authorities.d)How to inform the NZ High commission about such renunciation.

She is in big trouble.

Once she got her NZ passport, her Indian passport is invalid. She must travel on NZ passport only.

She has to renounce her Indian passport, pay penalties. She has to get OCI (which she got) and live in India for many years and then apply for Indian passport again.

If she wants to live in NZ anyway, then don't worry about Indian passport. Just have NZ passport and OCI.
