Mother's name change in my passport

Hi,

Can you help me to get information on how I can get mother’s name change in my passport? I am in Canada and my parents are in India, I want to process their visa document but in my passport my mother name is not correct. So I want to get it change here so that my parents can start their visa processing. Is it possible here to change my mother’s name? What all documents require and what the process in need to follow?
