What does "your details have been updated in oci records" means

Hello,

My kids passport has been renewed. So I started the oci process using OCI Miscellanous services.
The status changed recently to "your details have been updated in oci records"

What does this mean? Are there any next steps here?

Assuming your kids are under 20, that status means your kids' new passport details will be available to the immigration officer when you visit India. There is no re-issuance of OCI cards for kids under 20. Your family is good to travel to India. I suggest you print that status and carry it with the OCI in case the immigration officer gets confused with the physical OCI and the online information.

Awesome. Thank you for the response. I thought I need to apply OCI again for the new passport that we recieved. The steps in OCI website is very confusing.
and Yes my kid is 5 years old
