I have a question on PIO Vs Visa X:-
WHAT HAPPENED:
We have applied for our US born son's PIO card. Since it was taking time and we had to travel on urgent basis, we applied for X visa 1 year validity (visit visa i guess) and left the country. Now, my son stayed back in India and did not return with me. I now received the PIO card.
WHAT NOW?
Now, I have decided to go to India for good and not planning to bring my kid back. Is it Okay if his visa expires as I will be taking his PIO card along with me? Is there any process to be followed to convert him from visa to PIO card?
