I have a question. I am applying for OCI. I got my US citizenship in 2007 and have an INdian passport valid until 2012. Upon receipt of my US citizenship, I did not surrender/cancel the Indian passport. Now I am
applying for OCI.
Apart from $275 for OCI + $20 for mailing, how much should I pay for surrender certificate ie $175 + $20 of mailing or $20 for surrender and $20 for mailing or consulate will detemine on receipt of my application about the penalities for not surrendering the passport within 90 days of receipt of us citizenship? Can you please advise?
