Hi,
We have taken e-visa for my 2 years old US born kid which is valid for 5 years and each entry provides the kid to stay in India for 180 days maximum as per e-visa guidelines. at present my kid is in India on e-visa and for some reason she has to stay there only for some more time. Now the question
can the kid stay for more than 180 days in India on e-visa?
Is there a way to extend e-visa stay period for more than180 days?
If this is not possible, can we apply OCI for the kid who is in India?
if we get the OCI before kid completing 180 days, then do we need to re enter or kid can continue staying there and show OCI while exiting out?
any guidance is really appreciated.
