Indian passport renewal in Tatkal

Hello,
My Indian passport is getting expired and want to renew it in Tatkal with the spouse name addition. Do the Indian consulate provide renewed passport in Tatkal even with the minor change like spouse name addition? If anybody has faced the similar situation please reply. I want to get my passport renewed in two weeks… Thank you !!

hi Pvm, were you able to apply Tatkal? I have similar situation, where I want to add my spouse name on passport and actually even change my maiden name to married name when I submit for renewal but not sure if I can apply for Tatkal or not.
