Replacing OCI when in India

I hold a US passport and am currently visiting India on OCI. However, my OCI card is badly damaged by water.

To replace the OCI card, I am using OCI Miscellaneous services in https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome. When it asks me for address should I give my US address or India address? It is asking for address proof and other documentation, and I do not have any documents for proving address in India.

Does anybody have experience with this? Looks like we have to submit all documents, and it is not clear if I have to appear at FRRO in person and how long this is going to take after the application is completed.

Probably best to do it in person. Go visit your local FRRO and find out the process. They may have an expedited/tatkal option for situations like yours.
