Hello, thanks in advance for the help.
I am a 21-year-old US-Citizen by birth. My dad is of Indian origin and has his OCI card and is a US Citizen by naturalization. My mom is of non-Indian origin and does not have an OCI but is US Citizen thru naturalization.
My dad no longer has his original Indian Passport.
1) Can I still apply for OCI if only one parent is of Indian Origin?
2) From the "NEW OCI Checklist - For ADULT (US NATIONAL BY BIRTH)" document, the below two statements are confusing.
3) Anything else I should be aware of with my particular situation in applying for an OCI?
Under - MANDATORY DOCUMENTS Section
Under - SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS – CONDITION BASED Section

Thank you!
