India Visa OCI Multiple Entry

Hi all. Can someone advise the proper course of action. I recently got the US Citizenship and need to go to India. I need to enter india and leave and return back to india within 5 days. I was told that there is a 2 month re-entry rule. Can someone advise if there is an alternate solution.

Does OCI have the same limitation?
Can I request an exception to this rule?

OCI has no limitation or restriction, so the OCI is the best solution.
The only problem is that OCI takes about 2 to 3 months to process.

If you are travelling to Indian earlier, you can apply for "X Entry visa"

What is an X Entry Visa? I saw the option of Entry Visa at the website. Isin't there a workaround for reentry within a week to India. Probably a different type of visa? etc.

X is just a letter used for Entry visa. if you are from Indian Origin, you can only apply for Entry visa. there is no work around for entry visa.
