OCI reg. status still under process after photo scan

hi everyone,

i was happy that our oci appln. got acknowledged.but it's been 2 weeks now, after photo scanned on 16th nov. reg.status is still under process.

in tracker of ny consulate i saw others reg. status done in within 10days of photo scan.

what is causing delay?does it mean anything?

help me. pls.

Please send email to all concerned at NY Consulate as your file has been left behind.

This is normal with all consulates as the babus are careless.

After they receive your email, they will proceed further with your file. Else it might stay there under the desk may be for 6 more months.

Look at the NY consulate website page to contact them by email.

oci granted on 30th nov.

finally OCI granted on 30th NOV. again i don't know how much time they gonna take to print.
