Hi,
I am at my wit's end with the OCI passport updation process with OCI. I keep getting the following error when I submit the passport information. For some reason, the form is asking for Mother and Father's Nationality in the section where i enter the new passport information. I really don't understand why it asks for this data when I am providing the new USA passport information. It also requires me to fill in my address, phone number, and occupation information when I want to update the new passport.
"Due to some mistake in Applicants Nationality, Father Nationality and Mother Nationality, this application cannot be submitted. Kindly apply a fresh application for the same service."
I have tried various ways to enter the information on the form to try to debug to see if there's any character in my address, phone, etc. information. It is really frustrating as it kicks me out all the way to the beginning with no specific details on what exactly is not correct. It is a very simple form and theoretically, this should be a very simple process.
Any help or thoughts on how to solve this would be appreciated. I have also sent a message to the [email protected]. Thanks in advance!
