On the US passport last name is considered as surname. When I applied for OCI they asked for the surname and I thought since I do not have any surname I left it blank. I put my complete name in the name field. Now I'm thinking that my US passport will have last name as surname and OCI will not have any surname. Do you think I'll have problem in travelling like this? Do you think I should correct this on my OCI card? If so, how can I do it? Thanks for your advise.

That is a problem.
Last name = Surname.
First name = Given name.
You need to get it corrected. And you need to contact the Indian consulate to do that.Immihelp Support
