Passport Renewal Status - Chicago Consulate
Hi All,
Can anyone help me here to retrieve the exact status of the Indian passport renewal application status submitted to the Chicago Consulate through VFS Global -
- Application and old passport (valid till Jan'24) submitted on 17th July'23.
- Status on Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates website on 20th July'23 was "Application & Passport reached consulate and is under review"
- Status on Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates website on 3rd Aug'23 was "PassPort print initiated"
- Status on Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates website on 8th August'23 was "Application & Passport reached consulate and is under review"
The status changed back to "Application under review", did this happen with anyone else? I have to travel outside of the USA on 18th Aug'23, Can I expect the old and renewed passport before that?
I have opted for FedEx courier service through VFS Global. Plz share your experience.
