  • OCI- uploading self-attested documents?

Hi all, I am in the process of applying for new OCI cards for my family. I am confused if I need to upload self- attested copies of required documents. Can someone clarify this please? Currently, I have upload scanned PDFs of the documents. Also, in the document list it doesn’t say to send checklist. I know that older applicants have sent signed checklist. Was it a requirement then?

Thanks in advance for your help.

When I did it, I uploaded the non-self-attested PDF files on the portal and sent self-attested copies with the application. I didn't include the checklist but put the documents in the order mentioned in the checklist. Each document in the checklist should have an appropriate category in the portal. The checklist says to upload all documents. If there are not enough categories, I suggest scanning/merging related PDFs and uploading them.
