Searched through the web and much of the forum content but alas no result. Reaching out to folks here for advices/suggestion.
I am an Indian Citizen married to a Nepali Citizen. We got married in Nepal, back in 2014 and moved to US. Now US citizen. We have Marriage certificate from the local authority from Nepal.
I got my OCI card and looking into applying the same for my spouse. Question is:
1) Can a citizen from Nepal apply for OCI card based on the marriage ?; I couldn't find any information detailing they can't .. but the information aren't there/clear. Is there any email ID or contact information from OCI services that I can inquire ?
2) How could I get around the Apostilled Marriage Cerificate ?.. We did not get our marriage certificate from USA. Would really really really appreciate if someone has gone through a similar experience. can shed some encouragement and enlightenment
